He is back in service. A little over three years after a last experience, on the bench of Manchester United (Premier League), Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will coach again. The 51-year-old Norwegian has signed up with Besiktas, one of the Istanbul clubs, until June 30, 2026 with the option for an additional year, the Turkish D1 club announced on Saturday.

Among the Besiktas Eagles, currently fifth in the Süper Lig standings, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be able to rely in particular on “foreigners” like the Italian Ciro Immobile, the Englishman Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain or Cher Ndour, the Italian midfielder on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.

Expected to go to Wolverhampton

Last month, the name of the former striker was circulating around Wolverhampton. The Wolves had just parted ways with Gary O'Neil, the day after a
defeat conceded at home against Ipswich Town (1-2)the fourth in a row in the Championship.
