A few hours before officially becoming a Manchester City player, Omar Marmoush was present in the stands during Frankfurt's victory against Borussia Dortmund (2-0). If he didn't play, he went down with his teammates at the final whistle for the lap of honor with the supporters. He appeared in front of the fans with tears in his eyes, having scored 37 goals and provided 19 assists in 65 matches with Eintracht.

“The way the boys and the whole stadium celebrate Omar is extraordinary. That says it all about the whole club. Everyone is mad at him. I will miss him as a player, but even more as a person. It makes me proud, but also sad”declared club manager Dino Toppmöller on DAZN after the match. The Egyptian striker is in the process of signing for the Skyblues for 75 million euros, and should be operational for the Premier League meeting between Manchester City and Chelsea next Saturday.
