For its fifth edition, the Fight Aids Cup offers a superb cast! This gala meeting, for the benefit of Fight Aids Monaco, an association to fight against HIV created by Princess Stéphanie of Monaco, will pit the Barbagiuans team of Prince Albert II, with many players who have been through ASM, against Cirque FC led by former French internationals. While Patrice Evra is the godfather of this 2025 edition, Franck Ribéry will be the star of the event organized at Louis-II on Wednesday January 22 (5:30 p.m.).

The 3rd of the 2013 Ballon d’Or will be accompanied by the 98 world champions Christian Karembeu and Robert Pirès, as well as Sébastien Frey, Benoît Costil, Djimi Traoré, Maxime Gonalons, Sidney Govou, Bafetimi Gomis, Anthony Modeste and his friend Medhi Benatia, whom he worked with at Bayern from 2014 to 2016. The new director of OM football will therefore be there on the Rock.

Ribéry against Abidal and Varane

Former star player of the Blues, Ribéry, 41, is waiting to have his first real experience on the sidelines. He obtained his coaching diploma last September (the UEFA A license) after training in Italy and two seasons spent on the staff of Salernitana, the last club of his great career. He has since returned to Munich with his family.

On the Monegasque side, in addition to Patrice Evra, coach Claude Puel will deal with some very good people: Youri Djorkaeff, Sonny Anderson, Ludovic Giuly, Jérémy Ménez, Javier Saviola, Cesc Fabregas, Camel Meriem, Éric Abidal, Manu Dos Santos or the goalkeepers Daniel Subasic and Guillaume Warmuz. Raphael Varane will participate in the event for the first time and, although he has never played in Monaco, he will join the Rouge et Blanc team.
