This Sunday, Inter Milan traveled to Venice. A seemingly easy meeting for the Nerazzurri who needed this victory to regain second place and get back as close as possible to Naples. And at the end of a scenario that was more closed than expected and where the Interists had quite a few difficulties, they left with a narrow victory for the City of Masks.

Opening the scoring thanks to Matteo Darmian a quarter of an hour into the game (0-1, 16th), Simone Inzaghi’s men dominated the proceedings and never again relinquished this scoring advantage, failing to increase it. With this success, Inter, who have one game less than Napoli and Atalanta Bergamo, return to second place in the standings. Venice is 19th.
