Continuation of the 20th day of Serie A this Sunday evening. Claudio Ranieri’s AS Roma traveled to Emilia-Romagna to face the Bologna club on the pitch at the Renato-Dall’Ara stadium. On the Rossoblu side, the objective of this poster was to bounce back after an ugly defeat ten against eleven against Verona last weekend. The Giallorossi wanted to score valuable points to move away from the soft underbelly and move back into the first part of the table. After a balanced first period, Alexis Saelemaekers opened the scoring (58th) for the visitors.

Former Toulouse Thijs Dallinga then equalized for the locals (61st), before Lewis Ferguson put his team in front on a penalty (65th). At the end of the match, Evan Ndicka thought he had caused a penalty but the VAR overturned the decision (90th+5) then finally awarded the penalty (90th+8). Artem Dovbyk transformed it and thus secured a draw (2-2). In the standings, Bologna climbs to 7th place despite the draw, while Roma remains in 10th position. Next weekend, the Giallorossi will challenge Genoa at home, while the Rossoblu will play against Inter Milan in Lombardy, during the 21st day of the Italian championship.
