No podium for OL

A week after its miraculous success against Montpellier (1-0), OL missed the mark this Saturday on the SB29 pitch. While the podium extended its arms to the Lyonnais the day after the draws of Monaco and Lille against Nantes (2-2) and Auxerre (0-0), the Gones did not know how to seize the opportunity.

Very quickly picked up cold by Camara (1-0, 8e), Lacazette and others failed again before the half-hour mark, surprised by a marvel of Breton collective action concluded by Ajorque (2-0, 25e). And the Rhone alarm sounded by Veretout before the break was not enough (2-1, 45e+2).

Brest gives itself some fresh air

If Tolisso really thought he equalized straight away (45e+4), the offside trap upset OL, as it frustrated Baldé on the Brest side when the debates resumed (53e). The SB29 nevertheless signs a precious victory, confining Lyon to the fifth or even sixth level depending on the result from Nice to Reims; and giving themselves a little breathing room in the second part of the table, temporarily six steps ahead of the red zone.
