Things are moving in this winter transfer window within the Olympique Lyonnais squad. Banned from recruitment and obliged to replenish its coffers, the Rhone club must sell some of its elements.

A midfield executive from Les Gones could soon leave OL. According to newspaper informationTeamFrench midfielder Maxence Caqueret would be of great interest to Italian team Como.

The Italian club led by Spanish legend Cesc Fabregas has even reached an agreement with the leaders of Lyon for a transfer estimated at 17 million euros, bonus included. The Lyon club absolutely wants to sell its player this winter.

Under contract until June 2027

Trained at the club and considered an important element in recent seasons, Maxence Caqueret has seen his status change. The 24-year-old no longer really fits into the plans of the club and Pierre Sage who relegated him to the substitutes’ bench.

Under contract until June 2027, a departure is therefore more than likely in the coming days if he were to reach an agreement with the Serie A club. The Frenchman could therefore try the adventure abroad and in Italy in which would be the second club of his professional career. Negotiations are expected to intensify in the coming hours.
