This Tuesday morning, FC Barcelona will file an appeal with the offices of the Superior Sports Council regarding the registrations of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor. But, despite the favorable report from the Spanish Federation, everything speaks in favor of precautionary measures. Measures which would not be imminent. Barça would obtain the registration permit in a fortnight. The argument that changed everything is that the Federation itself considers as obsolete an article that it will abolish at the next assembly in June. This is article 130.2 of the general regulations of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF). The problem remains around this famous relationship which does not exist.
This article states that a footballer can be registered in only one team of a club “without the possibility of being dismissed by it during a single period”. Barça will present all the documentation to the Higher Sports Council in which it argues, among other things, the interpretation of this article 130.2 of the general regulations of the RFEF. Although both players traveled to Saudi Arabia for the Spanish Super Cup, the Spanish Federation believes that the process will not go so quickly and that it will still take a few days before they can play again.
