West Ham: it smells bad for Lopetegui

This has been hanging over his head for a few weeks already, it’s not official yet, but it’s getting dangerously close. Julen Lopetegui will probably no longer be West Ham manager. The English press is reporting an imminent dismissal, two days after the debacle on the pitch at Manchester City (4-1 defeat).

West Ham is ranked fourteenth in the Premier League, and only has 6 victories after 20 days, a far cry from the ambitions displayed at the start of the season. Lopetegui was appointed last summer to succeed David Moyes. The favorite to replace him is Graham Potter.
