Dani Olmo’s situation at FC Barcelona is reaching a critical point. Still not registered for La Liga, the Spanish international is having a hard time with this situation. According to Cadena SER, Olmo would be particularly upset against President Joan Laporta and the Catalan management, despite their repeated attempts to reassure him.
After several refusals from La Liga and the RFEF, Barça plans to contact the Higher Sports Committee (CSD), but the two players concerned (Pau Victor is in the same situation as Dani Olmo) are now very pessimistic about a quick resolution.
A termination clause could change everything
In addition to not being able to play in La Liga, Dani Olmo is also excluded from international competitions such as the Champions League or matches for the Spanish selection. The frustration is such that Olmo could activate a termination clause to leave the club freely this winter.
Although his agent has confirmed his attachment to the Blaugrana colors, the player’s irritation and the lack of concrete solutions could disrupt his future. A situation which puts Barça in a delicate position, while the team must cope without two major recruits.
