In search of a world-class striker to turn things around in the Premier League, Manchester United place Victor Osimhen at the top of their list for this winter transfer window. The Nigerian center forward, currently on loan from Naples to Galatasaray and also in the sights of PSG, is also very interested in a transfer to Old Trafford.

According to the British tabloids, negotiations are progressing for a deal worth around 90 million euros, of which 10 million would go to Galatasaray to compensate for the early end of the loan. With 12 goals and 5 assists in 15 games this season in Türkiye, Osimhen is in great shape.

A complex deal for Man United

To reduce the huge cost of this operation, Manchester United are considering including Marcus Rashford in the transfer, according to The Sun. This solution could appeal to Antonio Conte, coach of Naples, who appreciates Rashford’s profile. The recruitment of Osimhen is all the more crucial as Joshua Zirkzee, another summer recruit, has not convinced and could already leave the club.

The Red Devils, under pressure after a catastrophic first part of the season (despite the ouster of Erik ten Hag and the arrival of Ruben Amorim on the sidelines), must act quickly to secure a scorer capable of relaunching their season.
