Kylian Mbappé has seen his popularity plummet in France. According to a survey conducted by the IFOP, the French Institute of Public Opinion, the Real Madrid striker has lost support in the hearts of the French.

In the ranking of the 50 favorite personalities of the French in 2024, published by the IFOP in the Sunday newspaper, the Bondynois now occupies 36th position. He is ahead of several players in the football landscape, including Zinedine Zidane (17th) and Antoine Griezmann (32nd).

A big collapse

This ranking, dominated by singer Jean-Jacques Goldman for the fourteenth time, testifies to the continued fall of the former Paris Saint-Germain star scorer. Indeed, while he was 4th in 2018 and 2022, Mbappé had already experienced a big downgrade in 2023, finishing in 22nd position.
