The stands of the 974 stadium in Doha should ring hollow this Sunday (kick-off, 5:30 p.m. French time)… Already left aside by the Monegasque supporters, the Champions Trophy will also be contested without the members of the Collectif Ultras Paris, who decided to boycott the event. The group, however, allows its members to travel and attend the match as individuals, but many executives refuse to pass as “official supporters” invited by PSG. As a reminder, the club invited 365 of its fans to Doha this week for an all-expenses paid weekend to attend the match.
An initiative welcomed by the CUP, which however chose not to take part, considering that the competition should take place on French soil. The group of Parisian supporters, however, does not have figures on the number of its members who have chosen to make the trip to Qatar this weekend. Let’s see who will fill the stands for a match nicknamed the “match of shame” by many ultra groups throughout France.
