Salah has been in fine form this season under Slot’s stewardship as Liverpool have stormed to the top of the Premier League table. Salah has scored 17 goals and registered 13 assists in just 18 games, with the Reds six points clear of second-placed Arsenal.
Salah has now admitted to being shocked by Slot’s abilities after replacing Jürgen Klopp. The German won the Premier League title once during his time at Anfield, but Slot has the chance to win it in his debut campaign.
Salah impressed
Salah told TNT Sports: “ Before working with Arne Slot, I didn’t expect him to be this good… then we started working and I’m not surprised at all! He’s great at details, great at the little things, he has no ego when he makes a mistake… he’s great at tactics.”
