Manchester United are set to move Antony on loan in January, aiming to make a permanent break with the Brazilian.

According to UOL, United want to part ways with Brazilian winger Antony after three years at Old Trafford. Signed for £86million from Ajax, he has featured in just 17 goals in 94 games, and United are prepared to let him go on loan.

While intermediaries are reportedly working to find a new club for the 24-year-old, United are yet to receive a single offer.

Antony, good riddance?

While new manager Ruben Amorim is said to be little fan of the player’s abilities, he would be happy to let him go. Casemiro was also placed on the transfer list due to interest from Saudi Arabia.

Antony is tied to United until 2027, and it remains to be seen whether the Red Devils can find a way to land him this month. Otherwise, they may have to wait until the summer, but it’s not clear there will be much interest in a player with huge salaries.
