And as far as he is concerned, the trend is currently leading towards a departure, with the United States as the hottest destination. And “Grizou’s” dream would undoubtedly be to add to his list of achievements with the Colchoneros before leaving.
Griezmann, a Liga or a Cup to finish?
In nine seasons under the Madrid colors, the No. 7 has won “only” three trophies. The Spanish Super Cup upon its arrival in 2014, the Europa League in 2018, and the European Super Cup straight away. Atlético was champion in 2014, just before his signing, and in 2021, during his period at Barcelona, when Luis Suarez had gone the opposing way.
Griezmann therefore hopes to win his first Liga or his first Copa del Rey with Atlético de Madrid. And the good news is that it’s entirely possible for this season.
