Mohamed Salah has once again declared this is his final season at Liverpool amid rumors of a lucrative contract offer from PSG.

The Egyptian is in the final six months of his contract at Anfield and is officially allowed to negotiate a pre-contract with non-English clubs. Salah has repeatedly expressed his disappointment that Liverpool are dragging their feet in extension negotiations and appear to have had enough of the matter.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the 32-year-old once again insisted that this is his final season at the club as things stand. “It’s my last year at the club and I want to do something special for the city“, he said when asked about his ambition to win the Premier League.

That’s the last six months. There is no progress (in contract negotiations). We’re a long way from any progress, so we just have to wait and see. » This will be music to the ears of his many suitors, Salah being stronger than ever despite his age.

The Reds legend has scored an absurd 20 goals and provided 17 assists in 26 appearances in all competitions, which has only increased interest in his services.

Salah receives an offer from PSG

Salah’s comments come just days after reports from France surfaced claiming PSG were offering the winger a significantly better contract than Liverpool’s.

While the Premier League side had offered a two-year contract with a weekly salary of €400,000, PSG were prepared to pay him €500,000 per week for three years.

Salah is known to have a good relationship with PSG boss Nasser Al-Khelaifi, although the latter has previously played down links with the Egyptian. The striker, of course, still has suitors in Saudi Arabia as well.
