Paris Saint-Germain is definitively turning the page on the Parc des Princes. Following the failure of negotiations with the Paris town hall, the president of PSG, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, chose to accelerate the project of a new ultra-modern stadium.
According to The Parisianseveral firms are currently working on models that impress Al-Khelaïfi, described as “modular gems” that can accommodate between 50,000 and 90,000 spectators. The project, estimated at 1 billion euros, includes shops, restaurants, hotels and even a clinic, as well as a field for the women’s team.
A challenge to find the ideal site
While the Stade de France has been ruled out, PSG is exploring various locations for this XXL project. However, no site seems perfectly suitable at the moment. “Waiting until 2026, the year of municipal elections, makes no sense,” Al-Khelaïfi reportedly said, signaling the urgency of moving forward. The future stadium marks a key step for the club’s ambition to strengthen its identity and infrastructure.
