Vinicius Junior’s current contract runs until 2027 and Real Madrid will have to begin contract negotiations with him this year. So far, the Brazilian has made it clear that he wants to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu, but rumors of Saudi interest in him persist. Vinicius remains grateful to Real Madrid for taking the risk to sign him at the age of just 16.
An offer x 10
According to Cadena SER, however, it is not impossible that money could tip the scales between Vinicius and Real Madrid. The Saudi offer for Vinicius could be ten times higher than the one put on the table by Real Madrid, and on the other hand, the club could be offered an offer of around 400 million euros. Tomas Roncero explains that there is no certainty what the Whites would do if this offer becomes reality.
On the one hand, moving to Saudi Arabia seems like a step backwards for his career, but Vinicius has already won several Champions League and La Liga titles. He could very well move to Saudi Arabia and return to European football before he reaches his thirties, having probably become the richest footballer in history.
