Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has rejected all attempts by his club to extend his contract, which expires at the end of the season. According to the Cadena SER Real Madrid would be ready to negotiate a transfer in January, although the player is still free to sign elsewhere this summer. The Madrid club have already prepared a four-year contract for Arnold, with the possibility of extending it to four and a half seasons if Liverpool agree to a financial deal.
This transfer is looking increasingly likely, especially after Alexander-Arnold showed signs of leaving, particularly during his goal celebration against West Ham on December 29. At the same time, Liverpool has already prepared to replace its full-back with young Conor Bradley. Madrid, eager to strengthen their defense, would have other players in mind, including Alphonso Davies and Erling Haaland.
