Bayern Munich: Manuel Neuer will not play again this year

Legend of Bayern Munich and German football, Manuel Neuer (38 years old) did not have a stellar year in 2024. Guilty against Real Madrid in the semi-final of the 2024 Champions League of a blunder, the Rekordmeister goalkeeper has made several errors in recent months. While the newspaper Bild invited its readers to vote for the tops and flops of Bayern Munich, Manuel Neuer was singled out.

Of the more than 130,000 voters, 18% designated it as the flop of the year for Bayern Munich. He is ahead of Frenchman Sacha Boey (12%) who arrived last winter from Galatasaray while Japanese defender Hiroki Ito and Leroy Sané both come in third place (9%). Jamal Musiala, on the other hand, was elected best player of the year with 51% of the votes, just ahead of Harry Kane.
