Giving up his place to Sérgio Conceição as new coach of AC Milan, Paulo Fonseca leaves the Lombard club in failure. After only half the season and a sad eighth place, the former Lille coach was fired for disappointing results. In a message on his social networks, he said goodbye to the Milan supporters.
“The time has come to say goodbye. I am proud to have worked for Milan and to have always given my heart and soul to honor the history and tradition of this great club. I would like to thank my staff, my players, my supporters and everyone who supported me during my stay in Milan. I wish the club all the best for the future“, he said.
