If we are to believe the latest barometer from the specialist site Transfermarkt, seven Premier League players would be worth at least 100 million euros. This is of course the case of Erling Haaland, the Norwegian striker from Manchester City valued at the top, at 200 million euros; this is also the case for Bukayo Saka (Arsenal, €150 million), Phil Foden (City, €140 million), Cole Palmer (Chelsea, €130 million), Rodri (City, €130 million), Declan Rice (Arsenal , €110 million) and Martin Odegaard (Arsenal, €110 million).

According to Newcastle management, however, there would be one more player in this hierarchy of value. The Telegraph reports this Sunday that the leaders of the Magpies have set the price of their Swedish striker Alexander Isak at 180 million euros. A scorer with newfound confidence, author this season of 12 goals in 18 championship matches, including 11 in the last 10 rounds.

Arsenal and Chelsea in the running?

Aged 25 and purchased for 70 million euros from Real Sociedad in the summer of 2022, Alexander Isak is under contract with Newcastle until June 2028. But the person concerned, it is true, has no shortage of suitors at this time. Among the big teams in the English elite, Arsenal and Chelsea are looking to strengthen their offensive lines with the recruitment of an international class striker.
