Barely arriving at Genoa at the end of October, Mario Balotelli could already be packing up. The Italian striker, who has not made any starts in the six games he has played, is content with crumbs. With only 56 minutes of play accumulated, the situation is far from satisfying the 34-year-old.

Things became even more complicated with the arrival of Patrick Vieira on the Grifone bench. Indeed, the French technician and the transalpine striker have never maintained the most cordial relationship, since their collaboration at OGC Nice.

An attractive base with a fantastic salary

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Balotelli reportedly has a clause allowing him to terminate his contract before December 31. An opportunity which could push Super Mario to leave the GCFC as soon as the winter transfer window opens.

The Italian sports daily also mentions a possible exotic destination for the former AC Milan striker: the Mexican club Cruz Azul. The Liga MX resident would offer him a salary of 2 million euros per month, an amount much higher than the approximately 400,000 euros per month that the native of Palermo currently receives within the Genoese club.
