After a strong start to the season in La Liga, FC Barcelona seems to be losing momentum. A decline all the more marked in the absence of its nugget, Lamine Yamal. Yamal refutes speculation
Asked about the weight of his influence within the team, Yamal dismissed the idea of a correlation between his absences and the Catalan club’s poor results. The 2024 European champion refuses to see himself as more essential than his teammates in attack, Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha.
“In the end, when you lose we always look for explanations. If Robert or Raphinha are not there, we say the same thing. The most important thing is that the team wins. I always try to help the team”he commented on the sidelines of the 2024 Globe Soccer Awards.
