The family of Endrick, young Real Madrid striker, is in mourning. This December 25, Maurício Nunes Gonçalves, brother-in-law of the Brazilian player’s older sister, was shot dead in a bar near Brasilia. According to local media, the victim, aged 38, was shot several times in the head. The circumstances of the tragedy remain unclear. A moving tribute from Endrick’s sister
On social media, Lavinia Sudre, Endrick’s older sister, expressed her grief after the funeral. “Today I wanted to post positive and happy things, but that’s not going to be the case. We say goodbye to a person whose life was cut short in such a cruel way”indicated the young woman. According to the testimonies collected, no prior altercation would have taken place between the victim and the shooter.
Endrick, only 18 years old, has not yet reacted publicly to this tragedy which is shaking his family. Arriving at Real Madrid last summer from Palmeiras, he is considered one of the biggest prospects in world football.
