Paris Saint-Germain is preparing for a lively winter transfer window, particularly in attack. With the probable departures of Randal Kolo Muani and Marco Asensio, Luis Enrique is looking to add a new number 9 to his squad. Among the options considered, the Colombian Jhon Duran seems to be the preferred choice of the Spanish coach. Luis Enrique would have expressed a clear preference for Jhon Duran, the 21-year-old striker playing at Aston Villa, author of 12 goals in all competitions this season.
Duran’s profile, young and dynamic, corresponds to the PSG coach’s vision of the game. On the other hand, Victor Osimhen, loaned by Naples to Galatasaray, is not among the priorities of the Catalan technician, despite renewed contacts. However, recruiting Duran in January promises to be complicated. Aston Villa, currently in the race for European qualification, are reportedly reluctant to give up a key player under contract until 2030.
The other axes of the winter transfer window
In addition to the offensive sector, PSG also plans to strengthen its defense. Milan Skriniar, lacking playing time, is on the move, and the club is targeting central defenders like Ilya Zabarny (Bournemouth) and Abdukodir Khusanov (Lens).
In attack, PSG is also monitoring left winger profiles to replace Bradley Barcola, currently in difficulty. Names like Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Kenan Yildiz have been mentioned, but their arrival remains uncertain.
