Author of wonderful Olympic Games with the French delegation, Michaël Olise has surely written the first lines of a beautiful love story. Then becoming a French international after his first call-up by Didier Deschamps last September, the 23-year-old winger therefore confirmed his rise to power after a successful year at Crystal Palace and a resounding transfer to Bayern Munich. Now having four selections with the Blues, the London native aspires to become one of the selection executives in the coming years.

In the meantime, the transfer from Crystal Palace returned to his international choice this Tuesday in the columns of the newspaper Säbener 51: “it was sort of a natural decision. I always had the feeling of wanting to play for France. I also had Patrick Vieira as a coach at Crystal Palace, who had great success with France. I have also always had a good relationship with Thierry Henry, the under-21 coach, which reinforced my decision. But to be honest, I was always sure I wanted to play for France.» A dream that has recently come true.
