The draw for the round of 16 of the Coupe de France took place this Sunday.
A usual meeting at the start of the year, the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France closed this 2024 vintage. Olympique de Marseille, AS Monaco and Lille have punched their tickets for the next round. And while waiting for the result of the Lens-PSG clash in the evening, the draw for the round of 16 has been made.
And the program will be attractive since Olympique de Marseille will find a very big team, Lille. After having already encountered a Ligue 1 team for its entry into contention (4-0), the Marseille club will therefore continue its tough journey in the oldest competition.
Coupe de France: a hearty menu in 16th
In addition to this clash between OM and Lille, which will be a remake of the nice championship match of December 14 (1-1), two other 100% Ligue 1 posters will animate these 16th finals: Brest-Nantes and Reims-Monaco – two matches that took place recently too.
Finally, the little thumbs of the plateau will face a Ligue 1 club. Thaon, winner of Amiens, will welcome Strasbourg. Bourgoin-Jailleu will face OL, and Espaly will face the winner of the match between Lens and Paris Saint-Germain.
