Liga: Mallorca continues its incredible season against Getafe

He’s the little surprise guest in La Liga. Not necessarily scheduled to play the leading roles, Mallorca is today 5th in the Spanish championship, behind the three-headed hydra and Bilbao. This Saturday, the Balearic club also consolidated its position by achieving a valuable success on the Getafe pitch (0-1).

Hanging in the first period, Jagoba Arrasate’s players finally found salvation from the penalty spot, thanks to Canadian Cyle Larin, scorer of his 5th goal of the season in La Liga (53rd, 0-1). A success which allows Mallorca to come back to three points behind Bilbao, 4th. Getafe is 16th.
