In a previously unpublished Clique mentioned his nicknames. First nicknamed Kiki, the 25-year-old Bondynois is now regularly called Kyks. Facing Mouloud Achour, the neo-Madrilenian said more on this subject…
“Kiki, for me it’s a dog’s name. My father had a dog called Kiki. But you know, I preferred Kiki but now since people know, I don’t know how people found it, that I was called Kyks, it was my relatives who called me that. It’s a first name that my loved ones gave me, so when I was called Kyks before, I turned around straight away because I know it’s someone who knows me but now that it’s come out on television, I think it was players who must have said it. Now people call me Kyks, I turn around and see it’s someone I don’t know. For me, if you call me that, it’s because you know me but now everyone calls me that so now I turn around backwards (laughs)”.
