Liga: Valencia catches Espanyol, Villarreal misses the mark against Rayo

There were La Liga matches to catch up on this evening. Starting with the match counting for the 13th day between Espanyol and Valencia. A match of fear between those relegated in the ranking (the Catalans were 18th and the Che club 20th at kick-off).

But there was no winner. Puado opened the scoring for Espanyol, and Lopez allowed the Valencians to save the furniture (1-1). Finally Villarreal hosted Rayo Vallecano as part of the 12th day late. And there again, there was no winner, Pérez having responded to Garcia’s goal (1-1). Villarreal is 5th, Rayo 12th.
