Best Frenchman of the season, Mbappé reacts!

For the fourth time in his career, Kylian Mbappé was voted best French player of the season by France Football magazine (2018, 2019, 2023 and 2024).

A title that came close. The Real Madrid striker is a few votes ahead of Arsenal defender William Saliba who had a high-flying 2023/2024 with his club but also during the Euro with the France team.

The former Paris Saint-Germain player reacted to his new individual title on his social networks. “ Best French player of the season. Very happy with this new accomplishment, we will continue to work to bring back more. Thank you for your support,” he declared on his Instagram account.

Saliba deserved it for Mbappé

The captain of the France team admitted that his partner in blue William Saliba would also have deserved the trophy. The Arsenal defender finished in second position, just 5 points behind the French number 10.

“You have to be fair. William Saliba would have deserved it too,” he declared. The 2018 world champion has also placed the Gunners defender at the top of his ranking ahead of Eduardo Camavinga and Aurélien Tchouameni, his partners at Real Madrid.
