Newcastle are in a bind because of Tonali

The news caused a lot of talk yesterday. There Gazzetta dello Sport dropped a bombshell by claiming that Newcastle’s Italian midfielder Sandro Tonali was homesick and wanted to leave the Magpies to play in Italy again. Information which has since been denied by the player’s agent, via his company GR Sports.

“Sandro has absolutely no plans to return to Serie A. He is happy at Newcastle, happy to play in the best league in the world and he is an idol for the fans, who have always supported him at every moment», Posted the agency representing the player in a story published on its Instagram account.
