“Who do I like to play with the most? It was Firmino. But now I feel like I generally enjoy playing with Nunez. A lot of people don’t like him but I like playing with him. He is a player with different qualities. Few people understand his game,” Salah told Q&A media.
Restricted to the substitutes’ bench from the opening of the season, Nunez is now taking advantage of the absence of Diogo Jota, injured, to occupy a starting role at the forefront of the Reds’ attack. In 18 matches played in all competitions, he scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists.
