There is action at Manchester United. In recent hours, the English media have only been talking about the hasty departure of Manchester United sporting director Dan Ashworth. The latter was supposed to work within the INEOS galaxy since the purchase of the Red Devils by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, but after only five months at Old Trafford, Ashworth was asked to leave by the English billionaire.

This afternoon, new shock announcement from Manchester United. According to Sky Germanythe Red Devils have put Marcus Rashford up for sale. Aged 27, the English winger is linked to MU until 2028, but his club no longer considers him untouchable. Clearly, Manchester United would like to part with it as much as possible next summer and would be open to a departure this winter in the event of a good offer.

Rashford is no longer unsellable

Rashford has already suffered some criticism during the Amorim era, but the media specifies that it is mainly for a question of money that his departure is being considered. Indeed, after often using PSG to obtain lucrative extensions, Rashford and his annual salary of €18.25 million are starting to cost MU dearly. The Red Devils would therefore like to remove their number 10 in order to relieve themselves of a burden within the framework of financial fair play.

But not only that, since MU would like to do a bit like PSG who let their big salaries slip away to have more room to maneuver on the transfer market. Author of a goal and an assist in five appearances this season, Marcus Rashford has an overall record of 138 goals and 67 assists in 425 matches in the Manchester jersey since the 2015/2016 season. It remains to be seen whether a club is ready to jump at the opportunity.
