Legendary Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric could continue his career in Serie A. While his contract with the Merengues expires in June 2025, no sign of an extension is on the horizon. At 39, the Croatian international is now considering one last challenge.
According to Filesthe Como club, recently promoted to Serie A, would be in advanced discussions with the 2018 Ballon d’Or. The negotiations would concern a one-season contract, provided that the Italian club ensures its maintenance in the elite this year .
An agreement in sight with the Como club?
Luka Modric, who arrived at Real Madrid in 2012, could bow out at the top, while offering himself one last experience in a championship that he has never explored.
This new destination would mark a great end to his career for the man who shone for more than a decade in the Madrid jersey, winning five Champions Leagues and multiple La Liga titles.
