This Tuesday evening, Paris Saint-Germain travels to Salzburg for the sixth day of the Champions League. A crucial match with a view to qualifying for the play-offs.
For thirty minutes, Luis Enrique’s men pushed. In vain. They had several chances, notably through Gonçalo Ramos. The Portuguese center forward missed a solid gold one, in the 24th minute of play, alone against Schlager (24th). A few moments later, the former Benfica player made up for it by finding the fault, after tackling the ball into the goal with his right foot (0-1, 30th).
Gonçalo Ramos, a real fox goal
This is Gonçalo Ramos’ first achievement of the season. As a reminder, the 23-year-old striker suffered a sprained left ankle on the Le Havre pitch on August 16, during the first day of Ligue 1.
With this goal, PSG number 9 is none other than the first striker from the capital club to score in the Champions League since April 16 and Kylian Mbappé. At the time, the captain of the French team had scored the fourth Parisian goal, from the penalty spot, during the victory (1-4) against Barça, in the quarter-final second leg of the C1.
