Mason Greenwood is a phenomenon. Author, this Sunday evening, of his 10th goal after only 14 matches played in Ligue 1, the English winger established a record never seen before at Olympique de Marseille in the 21st century. After the year 2000, in the French championship, he was the third fastest player to reach this total, just behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic (10 goals in 9 matches) and Neymar Jr (10 goals in 13 matches).

Currently second top scorer in Ligue 1, tied with Bradley Barcola (10 goals), and just behind Lille’s Jonathan David (11 goals), Mason Greenwood is the number 1 offensive threat for the Marseille club this season. With an Elye Wahi far from his standards (2 goals) and a Neal Maupay more focused on the collective (2 goals and 4 assists), the real scorer for OM this season is called Mason Greenwood, although he does not play not at the forefront of the attack.
