This Saturday, Real Madrid had a strong match against Girona. Despite a performance that was still shaky in several aspects, Kylian Mbappé had the merit of scoring a great goal and contributed to his team’s convincing victory on Catalan soil (0-3). However, there was not only good news for the Merengues this Saturday evening. Already undermined by injuries, the latter lost Ferland Mendy again.

Often affected by physical problems, the French left defender left with an injury in the 81st minute. Visibly injured in his muscles, the former OL player will be absent in the coming weeks as Real Madrid explained in today’s press release: “After the examinations carried out today on our player Ferland Mendy by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he was diagnosed with a muscular injury to his right quadriceps. Evolution pending.”
