Benzema-Ronaldo, it was hot!

Karim Benzema completely lost his nerves during the Saudi championship clash between Al-Ittihad and Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr.

Teammates for many years at Real Madrid, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo met again on Friday evening, for the clash of the 13e
day of Saudi Pro League between Al-Ittihad and Al-Nassr. A meeting which turned in favor of the formation of the French striker (2-1 victory), scorer, just like the Portuguese.

Delighted to meet again, the two men warmly embraced each other in the corridors of the King Abdullah Stadium before entering the pitch. On the other hand, if this reunion between the two Ballons d’Or went well, the “Nueve” almost came to blows with a teammate of CR7.

Ronaldo managed to calm Benzema

Around the hour mark, Benzema had a heated altercation with the Portuguese Otavio. The Frenchman grabbed the face of the former FC Porto midfielder, who then violently released his hand. Exasperated, “KB9” was calmed down by Ronaldo, who managed to reduce the tension.

With this new success, Al-Ittihad consolidated its position as leader of the Saudi championship, while Al-Nassr lost big in the title race, now eleven lengths behind the lead. For their part, Benzema and Ronaldo each scored their 10e goal of the season in the Saudi Pro League.
