This is becoming clearer for the Club World Cup. This Thursday evening, the draw for the group stage of the tournament took place which will take place from June 13 to July 15, 2025.
Winner of the Copa Libertadores a few days ago, the Brazilian club Botafogo finds itself in the pool of Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid and the American franchise Seattle.
A tough draw which provoked the reaction of the owner of the Brazilian club John Textor who did not hesitate to send a strong message to his competitors including Paris Saint-Germain.
“ We wanted PSG. This is the match we’re looking forward to! I’m delighted with the group. We weren’t going to enter the tournament if we didn’t want to kick someone’s ass. We will try to shock,” he said. The message is sent.
