Argentine goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli shines in the colors of OM and has a great ambition: to make Olympique de Marseille the greatest French team.

Recruited this summer by Olympique de Marseille, Argentine goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli has established himself as a key element of the squad. Decisive in crucial moments, he embodies the new ambition of the Marseille club under the direction of Roberto De Zerbi. In an interview, he confided his attachment to the city and his great ambitions for the club.

Rulli: “Playing here is a privilege”

Thriving fully in Marseille, Rulli told RMC Sport : “Playing here, with more than 60,000 people pushing us, it’s a privilege. Every day I wake up happy that I made this decision. The more the days pass, the more I feel good in this club and this city.” Confident in the future of OM, he adds: “We are not yet the biggest French team, but we are working hard to become one again. That’s our goal.”

Building on a great performance against Monaco, where his saves were decisive, Rulli is looking forward to a promising season. His leadership, combined with the growing chemistry between the players, makes him a major asset in the quest for new titles.
