A controversial competition, the new Club World Cup is sold out. John-owned Brazilian club Textor joins three other Auriverde teams: Palmeiras, Fluminense and Flamengo.
Europe is notably represented by two clubs from the Premier League (Chelsea, Manchester City), La Liga (Real Madrid, Atlético) and PSG. The competition will take place in the United States from June 15 to July 13, 2025 and the draw will take place this Thursday, December 5, in Miami. The city of Florida will be represented with Inter Miami, the best team in the regular season in MLS but eliminated prematurely in the play-offs, led by Lionel Messi.
