After Nabil, it is the turn of young Yassin Fekir to leave the Real Betis club. The adventure of the two brothers on the Benito Villamarin side therefore ends.
Fekir is the younger brother of French international Nabil Fekir. Last summer, the latter left Real Betis after several years to join Al Jazira in Qatar. He played there for five seasons, notably scoring 21 goals in 135 matches. He chose this destination after the aborted transfer to Liverpool which was the turning point in his career.
The Fekirs change residence
Arriving at the same time as him in Andalusia after his time at OL, his younger brother Yassin, 27, remained in Spain despite the departure of his eldest. He thought he would prevail but that was not the case. The staff of the Spanish club judged that he did not have the level to continue with them.
This Friday, Betis announced that they had reached an agreement for the termination of Yassin Fekir’s contract. The destination of the latter is not yet known, but what we know for sure is that the Fekir siblings now no longer have any links with the Verdiblancos.
