Absent from the field for more than three weeks due to an injury to his right ankle contracted during FC Barcelona’s match against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League (5-2), Lamine Yamal sees the end of the tunnel. The young Spanish striker will return to the field.
It’s Hansi Flick, the coach of Barcawho confirmed that Lamine Yamal was operational for the Catalan club’s match against Las Palmas this Saturday (2 p.m.).

Flick did not hide his relief at the idea of being able to count on his striker again. “Lamine is back and he is ready to play, launched the German technician. We have not yet decided whether he will start as a starter, but he can play and he will play.”
Excellent news for Barça whose offensive performance is partly based on the creativity of the young Spanish international, despite the good form of Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski. The latter should also continue despite the busy schedule. Hansi Flick added that he would field “ the players who will be the best, regardless of the minutes accumulated.”
