After twelve days of Ligue 1, more than a third of the French championship contested, Paris Saint-Germain sits at the top of the rankings. With 32 points, the capital club is ahead of AS Monaco by six points and Olympique de Marseille by nine.
Barring a cataclysm, the Rouge et Bleu should retain their title of French champion at the end of the 2024-2025 financial year. They would then win Ligue 1 for the thirteenth time in their history. According to the Euro Club Index, a portal listing “the most complete and accurate rankings in European football”, PSG currently has a 94% chance of winning the domestic competition next May.
Ligue 1, PSG practically already crowned
Its pursuer, AS Monaco, would only have a 4.2% chance of snatching this trophy. As for LOSC, OM and OL, the possibility of them being crowned is almost non-existent. At the other end of the ranking, Montpellier, Angers and Le Havre are the clubs most likely to drop to Ligue 2.
