Manchester City are not cured, but they have at least stopped the bleeding. While they remained on a dramatic series of five consecutive defeats, in all competitions, Pep Guardiola’s men saved a point from a draw at home this Tuesday against Feyenoord, as part of the 5th day of the Champions League (3 -3).

A completely crazy match played in two acts. The first to the advantage of Cityzens who scored three goals, including a double from Erling Haaland (44th and 53rd). But the appearance of the match suddenly changed with a quarter of an hour to go. In fourteen minutes, Rotterdam in turn scored three goals, enough to completely knock out the Mancunians and the Etihad crowd. In the standings, City are fifteenth while Feyenoord is twentieth.

The good operation of the Gunners

At the same time, Arsenal enjoyed a walk in the park against Sporting (1-5). Mikel Arteta’s men took off in the first half with three goals scored. And despite Goncalo Ignacio reducing the gap two minutes after the restart for Sporting (1-3, 47th), the Gunners restarted the machine and scored two new goals. This success allows them to pass their evening host on goal difference. Arsenal are therefore provisionally seventh and Sporting are eighth.
