The Blues pushed from the first period and, after some pretty huge saves from André Onana, Omari Hutchinson equalized before half-time (43rd). Ipswich continued their momentum when United, with Hojlund as well as Joshua Zirkzee launched in the 68th minute, lacked inspiration in their attacks.
Manchester United are extremely hard-working and Ruben Amorim will need time to turn them into a good Premier League team capable of entering the European qualifying race.
