The Blues are set. After winning first place in their group thanks to their success in Italy (3-1), Didier Deschamps’ men had punched their ticket for the Final 8 of the Nations League.
And this leading position allowed them to approach this draw with a seeded status to face a more affordable opponent on paper. The Blues have been fixed: it will be Croatia.

The French team will meet its former opponent from the final of the
2018 World Cup on March 20 and 25, 2025 for the quarter-finals of this edition of the Nations League. Didier Deschamps spoke to react to this draw, this Friday.
“ We know each other well, we have met often since 2018. Last year, they were in the same group as us in the Nations League. We know what to expect with a Croatian team which has a great generation and which has maintained itself at a very high level since 2018“concluded Deschamps.
